As usual I was back out practicing tail up taxi tonight but the conditions were far from ideal. the wind was out of the north east at about 7-8mph I was on my 4th run headed downwind with the wind comming from my back left when it happend. As I set the tail back on the ground I suddenly felt as if I had no rudder authority anymore, the plane slowly started to turn left as the tail began to weathervane, I pushed full right rudderin an atempt to stop the turn but to no avail. all I could do was hang on for the ride. the plane abruptly swung 90deg to the left before I could get it stopped. I then taxied back to the hanger and inspected my tailwheel assembly finding no damage I returned to the field and continued to practice.
happy flying
