I am finishing up a kit built CH701 SP-ELB. The ELB stands for extreme low budget. I am running a Rotax 583 with 3.47 E box, 72" 3 blade IVO. Static run-ups and taxi testing seems very promising. Hope to be airborne in a month or two.

Hello Richard

I am sure that Patrick Panzera , editor@contactmagazine.com , will publish your engine install project . I have asked him about 2 stroke engine projects and he says that he publishes mostly what people submit , and there has not been anything to publish on 2strokes .

It will help others and for what I have seen it doesn't has to be a "grand champion" installation .

Regards
PR

Thanks for the welcome gentlemen,

Hello again Pedro,

I am so close that it hurts. I will post performance data after actual flight testing. This 583 install seems to be a no brainer, but I have had a learning curve to get over. All trouble has been self inflicted though.

The weather here has been terrible. I am planning to get back on the project soon.
