PostSubject: Backing in to reduction ratios   Thu Jul 24, 2008 11:05 am

I wonder if there is a program????

I have a 60x28 prop
I have the Kohler 20hp@3600 (maybe more hp if I fiddle with it)

I wonder if there is a program that will tell me what reduction would be the best for this combo?

Try prop design

I also like, though it is for RC airplanes, you can scale it up.

Valley engineering also has some info available on line.

No problem, I also have one called Prop Design by Edwin Dokus EAA # 51432, but I can seem to remeber where I got it.
