Hello All,

Saw something about this site and it looks right up my alley. Just completed an XAir Standard and am having a lot of fun flying it.

Bernard,

Does your X air have folding wings like a Kolb?

I am interested in a H model however I can’t find much info about the wing folding option. Is it easy?

Does you plane have the motorcycle like suspension on the mains? How does that work compared to normal gear legs?

Grant,

The XAir H does have removable wings, but not like a Kolb. It is not something that you would want to do for storage after every flight. It is good for trailoring it occassionally. You can get a lot of information on the H model from either John Matthews in Georgetown, SC (Carolina Ultralights) or Joe Carswell in Morganton, NC. Both are distributors and John has some H's for sale already built and are ELSA certified. You would need to install engine and instruments.
