Hello there,

Just stumbled onto this link in a message from the Quicksilver group. I have been pursuing this concept for a few years now, so it will be interesting to hear how others are faring in their adventures. I hale from NW Wisconsin where I have a collection of vintage ultralights and LSAs, acquired primarily thru my eBay connection; that include a Rans S-12, '83 MX(currently flying) and parts MX, '94 HiMax, early Hurricane(parts), Phantom UL(brother's bird), a Skycycle UL 277(Cubbie Wanabe), a RW Heath Replica(30% completed) and a Rutan VariViggen for good measure. Needless to say, I don't have much spare time, but these things keep me out of trouble! I do manage to fly once in a while.

Sounds like you have more planes than you have time to work on, I just got involved in this hobby (addiction Twisted Evil ). Good luck with you flying and dont forget to promote the forum every now and then,

never run out of altitude airspeed and ideas at the same time

3 things that dont matter altitude above you runway behind you and the gas back at the hanger

takeoff is optional landing is mandatory

Fly only in the middle of the air, the edges are identified by buildings trees and houses, and it is much more difficult to fly there.

It is better to be on the ground wishing you were flying then flying and wishing you were on the ground!
