Just Saying Hello

Hi everyone...I'm Will Leonard from Independence, Virginia. I've been flying since 1974. Retired USAF. Single Engine and Sailplane rated. I currently own and operate a Himax 1700Z, A Super Single Skyraider I and a Brand New, waiting to be certified CX4. I've owned and flown a Spitfire and Rally3B in the past. I've also flown many other GA aircraft over the years.
I like the idea of the forum in that there will be input from people flying all kinds of ULs, LSAs and Homebuilts on the low end of the Economics scale. LOL!

I'll post some pictures, if possible, for these aircraft, and am open to questions about any of them. I'm currently a member of the ETLB (East Tennessee Lonesome Buzzards, a TEAM ISON site) and the CX4 Yahoo Group, which is composed of CX4 builders, a scratch built, VW powered, all metal, conventional gear, single seat, low wing HotRod...uh...airplane.

I hope the board succeeds..I'm all for supporting Aviation in any form, but especially Affordable Aviation!

Welcome to the forum Will,
I too hope this board succeeds, I started it with hope that I could expose some of the cheaper approaches to flying. now if i could only get some input from some PPC and PPG guys Rolling Eyes

Fly only in the middle of the air, the edges are identified by buildings trees and houses, and it is much more difficult to fly there.

It is better to be on the ground wishing you were flying then flying and wishing you were on the ground!
