I have been working on my Sport Pilots license and building a Sonerai II LTS, but have recently decided flying woulld be much more fun in the ultralight category. I am looking at the SkyPup UL plane and others.

I look forward to the info on this forum.

Glad you found us. The sky pup is a very affordable and forgiving UL., and it is probably the best ultralight that can be built from foam. Have you found someplace to buy plans for it yet.

3 things that dont matter altitude above you runway behind you and the gas back at the hanger

takeoff is optional landing is mandatory

Fly only in the middle of the air, the edges are identified by buildings trees and houses, and it is much more difficult to fly there.

It is better to be on the ground wishing you were flying then flying and wishing you were on the ground!
