Hi,

I'm new to the site and new to flying (sort of). I have soloed in a QuickSilver MX and I've taken a couple of 'introductory' flight lessons (a couple of years ago). I have, however, spent over 100 hours "Flying" various PC simulators. I've recently acquired an old MX with a Rotax 447 on it, but have yet to fire it up. I'm afraid that the sails and airframe may be suffering from 'old age', and possibly the engine as well.

So here's my current (but not firm) plan... I ...

Kevin McCune from NW Wisconsin. I'm plans building a CH701, have the rudder, stabilizer and elevator done. I started 7 months ago and have pretty much not done anything this summer. Camping and family stuff ya know! But I feel pretty good about my progress so far. I am presently trying to talk my wife into selling our two again and rarely used snowmobiles... so I can buy a wing kit

I just found out about this site by mere coincident, but is just up my alley. I'm building (actually just finishing) a woodstock glider. I came by it off the internet for a really good price. The work done was excellent and I'm looking forward to getting my glider add on with it.

I'm also very interested in the legal eagle, affordaplane and several other ultralights that have been around the past few years.

Look forward to chatting with you all.

Hey Chris great idea for a forum! This is grant from Spadworld. AKA Kolb Guy. Geez just what I need, another forum to keep up with!

I am located in southwest Georgia near Plains. I fly a Kolb Mark III. Come fly with me!

Can you change the settings so the message titles do not have to be 10 or more characters?
